Presentation Title: EPM in The Cloud, How to Make it Work
Speaker: Mr Franklin Branderhorst
Company: Infratects
Co-presenter:
Presentation abstract: You are considering moving your EPM (Hyperion) environment into the Cloud. You have looked at all the benefits you hope to achieve. Your IT partner or Cloud provider can help you very well in describing (and calculating) all the benefits of moving to the Cloud.

Did you also reverse the questions? We can all think of the benefits of moving to the Cloud, but did you spend an equal amount of time and effort to look at potential disadvantages of moving to the cloud, especially for EPM environments?

• Will you really reduce costs and is there a catch?

• Is the solution really flexible?

• Are there any special considerations you have to take into account?

• Which mistakes do people make and how do you prevent making the same mistakes?

We’ll challenge the commonly known benefits and provide practical examples. We’ll also look into the topics to address to make the Cloud work for your EPM environment. An EPM Cloud solution may work very well for you if your expectations are fully in line with what you are getting. We will provide the key Do's and Don'ts to make your EPM Cloud project successful.
