Presentation abstract: The order fulfilment model of a business organization with multiple partner supply chain is complex and difficult to administer. This is a case study of how Hitachi Consulting partnered with JDS Uniphase to develop a real-time business process integration to transform their order fulfilment processes. The underlying objective was to re-engineer the business process using state of the art SOA - B2B integration to build a standard and scalable foundation for future growth. This initiative reduced operating cost, E&O, inventory carrying cost and increased inventory turns. RNIF and EDI standard is used to collaborate with trading partners. An actionable, viewable dashboard provides end-to-end visibility to every transaction in the supply chain.

Speaker biography: I have over 15 years of experience in IT and have been involved in the design and implementation of custom applications and integrations around Oracle E-Business suite. I am a PMI Certified Project Management Professional and have been the offsite project manager for several custom development and implementation projects for our EBS clients. In my current role as the Service Line Manager, I am responsible for delivery oversight and account management of multiple Oracle R12 upgrade and reimplementation projects. I participate in the sales proposal preparation and also play a key role in our organization initiatives to develop accelerator tools to support sales and enhance delivery efficiency.
